Ok, I am trying import my wordpress.com blog to ipage for hosting because my blog is commercial and I want to sell advertisements and products through the site. I have tried several times, with no luck, to use wordpress.org and I am wondering if I can simply import my wordpress.com blog over to ipage and add a custom theme to the site and sell advertising and products. Is any of this possible?

1. Install WordPress on iPage. (use their one-click install)
2. In your old (WordPress.com) blog, go to Tools → Export and download the XML (WXR) file to your computer.
3. In the new blog (WordPress installed on iPage), go to Tools → Import → WordPress and upload the file you downloaded in step 1. Make sure that you choose the option to Download & import file attachments.
That’s it. Now you can install any theme or a plugin on your new WordPress blog.
